How long did it take for your Softopper to ship?

I placed an order for a Softopper for my DCLB Sunday afternoon. Sunday night I got an email that says backordered but also includes a FedEx tracking number. Do they assign tracking when they confirm your order? How long have you all been waiting?

 

They are having staff and supply issues might be awhile before you have it shipped . Took them over a week to get back to me on a email I sent them .

 

Well you know that the gain of function research "gone south" and put a damper on every aspect of shipping.

Then they run a container ship aground in the suez canal. Got the whole damn logistical jizm all blocked up.

If dollar shave club can't do it...No One can.

 

I placed my order July 1st and am still waiting for it to ship.. They gave me a tracking number right off the bat. It initially had an estimated delivery date but its changed to "Estimated delivery date pending". Tried to get ahold of them on FB last week but no response yet.

 

Just put in an order this morning. Got an email saying backordered items take 4-6 weeks for delivery. So after 6-7 weeks I’ll start to look into it. I’m fine with waiting. Gives me time to think of an excuse to tell my ol’ lady why I “needed” a softopper.

 

It was listed right on the site which is why I did not order my new. Backordered until July, and now say orders will ship in 3-5 weeks.

 

Thanks, now I know I have at least a three week wait. I was hoping for an under promise and over deliver situation but I guess not.

 

Worth the wait, everyone. Softopper is a solid ass company, hopefully they pick up a lil more steam

 

Mine took about a month. We've all become accustomed to click and receive but not so anymore with a lot of stuff. Still waiting on Fox shocks to arrive, ordered a month ago. But checking my notes, they are right on the schedule that they had promised, so I can't be too impatient.

 

I love click and receive. But you're right, that isn't how things are currently running. Amazon prime used to be 2-day delivery, even prime items are now 4-5 or even 6 days out or more.
I placed the order for my Softopper on 7/18. 8 days down, let's hope they are catching up and shrinking those delivery times.

 

Someone suggested getting ahold of them on facebook so I did that a couple weeks ago just for an update. I'm impatient, I know. They just got back to me last week and sincerely apologized for the delays and said it would likely ship by the end of this week. So looking like 5 weeks from order date.

 

That's a bummer. I saw on the "Lets see some Softoppers" thread JB had his ship after 12 days. I was hoping they were under promising and going to over deliver but if you've been waiting 4 weeks already, dang.

 

Ordered mine Friday. Said 4-6 weeks in the confirmation Email. says FedEx ground for shipping but no tracking number until it's shipped. as long as it gets here before the snow hits, I'm OK with a wait. Won't say happy, but that's because instant gratification culture has ruined me LOL.

 

I just told them TacomaWorld was waiting to see my SoftTopper so they put a rush order in.

I ordered last Wednesday and just got my tracking number in an email today. I’m in no rush.

 

….and it took 19 days from order to delivery for my topper.

 

I’m hoping for 19 days.

 

15 days and counting.

 

Well boys and girls, she finally arrived today! 34 days. Ordered July 1.
