Use fog light as headlight

For wiring check out these two threads. But I also know the 3rd gens are more difficult to do as a "fog light on anytime" mod compared to the 2nd gens.

This one has part numbers for the bezels and shows how to wire them independently from your factory wiring so you can use them anytime (ie headlights off, on and high beams). Factory settings only allow fog lights to be on when low beams are on. If your low beams are off or you switch your high beams on the will turn off.

I personally like OEM switches since they don't stand out from the rest of your dash switches. But if you like a different color light in the switch, there are many options that are cheaper. CH4x4.com has been reliable for me and has tons of options!
