    This looks like something I need to do on my ‘08. I hope it works as well as the later models.

    I finally got my seat mod done this week and it is more comfortable for sure. I now have 3 positions instead of 1. Thanks to the OP for sharing the information needed to get this done.

    Just did mine today. Being only 5'5", I only cut down 3/8". Definitely tell the difference. That actually may be a bit much for me. Will have to get used to it to see. It DOES beat sitting at 90 degrees though.
