    No shit...
I just did the same thing with a girl from NJ at the truck stop yesterday when I grabbed my car 2 K9s in Nissan truck baking away.
I called the cops lady came out when I was on the phone.
After I canceled with police I said to the lady
"Its amazing that both of your dogs are smarter than you, I hope they chew your feet off while you sleep."
She looked at me dumb founded and was about to respond when I laid on my horn and yelled I can't here you while I drove away.

It's ok though, karma is a bitch and it's always looking for the next target.

I'm 6 years alcohol free. I recommend it to ANYONE with any bit of a drinking problem. And by problem, I mean for your relationships and family, even if you don't mind so much.

I am a "passionate" person as my wife says, and I have almost no control over what comes out of my mouth when I'm drunk, and its usually very aggressive. Got sick of waking up and having to apologize to people I care about, or even if I had a good night, wonder what exactly I was doing towards the end. I'm easy enough to work up completely sober without anyone helping, booze just wasn't good for me.

Since I've quit I've been married, had a kid, started a business (currently starting a second as I type) and have healthy and happy relationships with all my family and good friends. Hey, I even wake up at 4am with energy ready to go, no more rolling out of bed at 9-10 and feeling like shit for multiple days!

Most people can drink a few beers and its never going to be a problem. But if you LOVE to drink like I did, you're better off getting far, far away from it. I have two friends a little younger than me (Im 35) who have seized and almost died from drinking and withdrawals. Society tells you its okay and to go grab a beer, but its really not for a good portion of us and it should be taken more seriously IMO.

Off the soap box, back to wheeling and Ford talk. BTW I have a 38 gallon tank on my tundra and get about 600 miles on a full tank :anonymous:

It's in my bloodline - on both parental sides. It's one of those things I am astutely aware of now, so it's one thing that - even though it's hard to see yourself internally, I think I have a good idea if it would be "out of hand" - I've caught myself once. But, I don't drink much anyway now. I'm almost 30, most of my friends have kids and we don't go out to the bars/clubs at all :notsure: just had a great weekend at Newport Folk Fest, there are beer tents but you're confined to the beer tent for like 8$ Sam Adams. Didn't seem worth it - but me a few years ago would have gone just because it was there. I don't do AA at all but, to each their own - whatever method gets you there, it's not a one size fits all.

Relapses are dangerous. Each time you detox it gets worse.

BUT Yeah on to wheeling and fuel tanks. A guy I go wheeling/camping with time to time sent me a picture a few days ago, someone's prepping for a cannonball run and they put a 220 gallon aux tank in the bed of a truck, under a tonneau.

2789 miles (to the google, NYC to LA, I didn't do red ball to portofino)
I think it was a dodge, about 22 MPG I think the dude factored in so needs about 125 gallons. Has 220 + 30 in the main tank.

I did it in a week, I guess I never put together how much gas I used, I just saw 220 aux and thought "dude's not gonna have enough" - guess it doesn't take as much as I thought!

I don't do AA either, I just have a lot of support from my wife and honestly, just am not interested at all anymore. After I hadn't drank for a month or two I just stopped caring. Next step was to get social/dance etc.. sober. I used to need to be real drunk to dance or put myself in a spot I could be viewed as "silly" now I just don't care. Nice to see you are aware and doing what's best for you! Like you said, whatever works!

I wonder how much that extra weight removes the extra milage they would get....sounds like it did the job either way!

Alcohol was never an issue for me. By all means plenty of people in my life were alcoholics. I've been able to drink since I was like 5 or so. Grew up making wine etc. I would try stuff all the time, but never liked it. Eventually I found some I like but if I drink 12 times in a year it's a record for me. I've gone plenty of holidays and parties without any. Some I how I could still put them down without issue. Day of my wedding I did drink. Shouldn't have been able to function that day either lol. Was up until early morning and had 16 shots of disaronno with my side drink also being disaronno and coke. I can drink heavy if I wanted to and feel fine, but I just don't really ever touch the stuff. I've got bottles untouched in my house from when we moved in lol. I've also seen what true alcoholism can do to a family and a person with severe depression. It takes a lot to admit the issue, but to hold yourself accountable and do something about takes a hell of a lot of strength. Good on you guys for making the choice for the better!

Hopefully soon actually......I was going to message another TW member that lives close to me to see if he could lend me a hand in the next couple of weeks. Once I get mine done and am fully comfortable with the teardown and install, I would be good to go getting someone else's on without issue.

about 2-3 weeks ago, right before we left for Maine.

Loving it so far, smooth as butter compared to either tacoma I owned. Pulled the back doors and wall for some sound deadening to try to wake the system up without changing anything. Will get the front soon enough.

i’ve since debadged and gotten it a line-x bed liner. besides the deadening, I’m switching from 20s to 18s but that’s going to be it.

Only one actually available that wasn’t over priced and wasn’t a platinum type. Still damn expensive without tons of discounts these days.
