    Go for it!
    Question. You have the mini fuse, correct? Do you have a link for it? I think it’s the same fuse sized as the DMH-W4660NEX.

    Yes, regarding the adapters for 2016-2019 model years Tacoma, PCBs are in and I've got about half of them assembled. Need to finish the other half and then get them into enclosures. There should be enough adapters for everyone who is currently on the waiting list. I increased the MOQ for the enclosures so I was able to get those customized so I don't have to drill out/enlarge the holes. Good news is there will be plenty of adapters available to fulfill the order of all those who are currently on the waitlist (at least as of the time of writing this post.)

    For those waiting on news of a 2020+ model years Tacoma adapter, you'll be happy to know I've completed the design of the wiring harness and am awaiting receipt of the first batch. Once I get those, I'll be putting together a few POC test units and will arrange to send those out to a few beta testers.

    Again, thank you all for your patience. As much as I hate to blame the supply chain issues, believe it when I say the entire supply chain is in desperate need of a giant Ex-Lax tablet as it's extremely backed up. As much as we like to buy U.S.A. made items/components, the sad truth of it is that much of the componentry related to automotive electrical systems is not manufactured stateside, meaning the only options are overseas/south-of-the-border factories and they're all experiencing supply chain issues, especially those relying upon raw materials. It's complicated more by this not being my main day job and some other projects I'm committed to deliver. All that to say, don't lose hope, they are coming!

    Sound great, this is the last part of my 2020 install. I just hope not to miss it when you put this for sale.

    I've completed development on a prototype mic adapter for the 2020+ model year trucks. I'm in need of a few owners of a 2020+ model year truck (the U.S. version with SOS) who'd be willing to assist me in field testing the adapter. The conditions are as follows:

    • You own a US version of the 2020+ Toyota Tacoma (the truck needs to have SOS functionality.)
    • You possess the technical/mechanical skills required to install the adapter.
    • You can install the adapter within 1 to 2 weeks after receipt and report back on its viability.
    • You'd be willing to take some pictures of the adapter installed in your truck before reinstalling the head unit that I could use to help build an installation guide.
    • For your time and assistance, the adapter is yours to keep and use in your truck.

    If you're interested, please PM me directly and I'll make arrangements to get you one of the adapters.

    Thanks!

    Any new update on availability for the 2019 compatible model? I joined the waitlist today after just stumbling across this awesome product but I don't know if I have missed the window for the batch you mentioned in this quoted post. Thanks!

    @uptaco,

    Nope, you haven't missed it. If you're on the waitlist you'll get the notification when they're ready for purchase. Thanks!

    @WickedAx Thank you for the update! I am so excited that someone (you) finally brought this kind of a solution to market!

    Was it ever determined these adapters could be... adapted... to work on 2021s?
