Little rust spots...

Weirdest thing, I have these little rust spots around the driver side window.
Anyone else experiencing this, how do I remove them.

 

Got them too. Mine are on all 4 sides

 

You can slow it down with a color match paint pen. Turn the spot into a small chip that you can fill then follow the directions on the pen

 

I usually go at these with a dremel and a fine point bit, get out all the rust and go at it with a touch up pen from toyota

 

Rock chips. I have those on all 4 doors, front end, and roof (where it meets the windshield).

 

-same around windshield and not chips. I can see chips they are different, these are blisters...going to have to have this looked at by a professional shop as I'm keeping the 2009 so want it done once and right.
-funny one I have small rust spots on the plastic fender flares, yes I know plastic doesn't rust. appears to me to be small particles from hot brakes. the metal speck, being hot probably melts into the plastic and looks like a rust spot.

 

I find that the higher the miles get, the less I look at the outside as new and shinny. My 06 has clear coat peeling, some light rust on the rear bumper and a whole hood of rock chips.

But, cruising down the road, not making a payment, I am good.

Looks like it’s probably rail dust that’s been in there a while. Try Iron X. Those may be too far gone but it may help. It’ll also get rid of any newer metal particles that are in your paint. Oh and it stinks horribly so don’t hesitate to use the entire bottle cause you’re not gonna wanna store any remainder anywhere in your house or even garage and wear a rubber glove on your sprayer hand.

Small iron particles imbedded in the paint, commonly called "rail dust." Can be easily removed with lubricated clay, or better yet, a product called Iron-X.

 

Never Dull is a metal polish and I would never recommend using it on a painted surface. Sure, it will removed the imbedded iron particles, but it's not good for your paint at all.
