I think you can just put electrical tape over the "low fuel" dash light. It works for the "check engine" light so its got to work for that too right?

Installed the front bed rail (thank you @CorpsTaco ) and some tie downs, installed new air filter, cleaned bed and bed mat and changed the oil/filter. Last time it was done at dealership and I swear they used an impact set to infinity. Used the filter wrench with slots and a damn near a breaker bar to remove it. Need to get the aluminum housing and ditch the plastic one.

My Ram XL phone mount and ESI tailgate seal came in yesterday from our favorite place: Amazon. Phone mount got put on this afternoon before work. Tailgate seal a job for this weekend.

Well I caved and took out the boxes in my Trail Edition. I was going to put a hard cover on for a trip next week and decided I wanted the extra room. Plus they're pretty worthless as they leak like crazy.

Going to keep them in case I want to reinstall them at some point.

So is there much storage room in them? I’m thinking hunting equipment. Perhaps a couple of duffle bags with clothes.

Just out of curiosity, how much weight do you think all of that adds?

Depends on the size of the duffle bags. Smaller ones with a few changes of clothes? Maybe, but definitely not stuffed. You could fit some rifles or a shotgun and accessories in the other side but in all honesty these things are junk. Mostly because of the wheel well intruding into the box. And the thicker plastic for insulation. Imo you'd be better served with a locking tool box or some of those drawers that install into the bottom of the bed.

Cumulative post for the last month - Bought the truck in WA, drove it home to CO. Mods so far - hardwire Thinkware dashcam, V6 de-badge, dip the side Tacoma badges, BHLM + RX350 retrofit, and most importantly de-skewped. As it sits now:
    20210729_172047.jpg
And just so I can say I did something today - installed glove box organizer from Amazon.
