Installed today, took about 3 hours. The light bar seems to be of good quality and very bright! The mounting brackets for the 3rd Gen Tacoma’s are okay. Each bracket has two mounting holes for the bumper attachment however you will only use the top mounting hole. When you install the bracket you will find that they sit about 1/4” to low and the light bar will not be centered vertically. To correct this, use a Dremel or grinder to make the mounting holes larger. This will allow for some vertical movement. Besides this modification the install goes well with NO modification to the truck or the plastic on either side. Take your time and do not expect the install to be 100% smooth. Overall I think it looks great and cant wait to try it at night. I will post a link in the near future for a complete video installation instruction.[IMG]
