Keystone State Thread

Installed some TRD Pro rigid fog lights last night that I bought off @NotMaxMunroe, washed the truck today and then took the family to Sarris ice cream parlor for some sundaes and stuffed animals for the girls. So happy to be done with night shift for another month.


edit: I forgot to post the pics of my wife and daughters on the giant ice cream bench inside the Sarris chocolate store and my girls and I in front of the $130,000.00 chocolate castle.

looks like fun, i spent the day at Westinghouse nuclear troubleshooting their rod control system. Can’t beat some Saturday OT.

 

Is that the one in West Mifflin?

 

Never mind, I think I’m confusing my Westinghouse locations.

 

The Waltz Mill facility right off of I-70. Upgrading their control logic cabinet to Ovation DCS

 

Gotcha, when you said nuclear my mind automatically went to the Bettis facility.

 

A few years back an electrician up at waltz mill put a phase rotation meter on 4160 and got severely burned , were u working there then ? Sad. I believe he fully recovered.

 

yikes, that’s some scary stuff right there. Luckily the rod control cabinet is only 230VAC so not too much juice. I am here for about another 2-3 days finishing up, then hopefully heading back to dirty jersey. Hit up a local bbq joint called Gorky’s. They had some excellent food, I got the elk burger and took some of their bbq sauce to go!

 

I've lived in Pittsburgh since 1991 and have yet to use any of these terms except for "The O". I know too many people to count that do on a daily basis though in every sentence. LOL

 

My wife occasionally occasionally calls me a dupa yash. Gotta love those polish women and their colorful expressions.


The more I look at that list, the more I’m realizing I know way too many people that use these sayings.

Scary bright at the highest setting, at the second setting they overpower my highbeams.

 

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!! Got the grass cut and clippings picked up yesterday. Looks like we're in for more thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.

No big plans for today. Think I'll pick some blueberries - this weather combination has given us a ton of them. Lynn makes and freezes blueberry pie filling so she has it throughout the year.

Introduced my new Tundra to the cabin yesterday. Was a good day. Sawed up a tree that fell into the field, dropped and cut up two others. Moved my Boy's ladder stand. Time passes quickly at the cabin. Again good day with my Boy and my Dad!
