correct. There’s some speciality bolt that is supposed to be installed into that big triangle piece of the frame. The sliders has a bracket that comes under that. So If you were to come off of a rock or something, the sliders are already sitting under that so I never really bothered getting the speciality hardware for that section. There’s 4 other 3/8 bolts. Some brackets with 4 more bolts and two 1/2 bolts I wasn’t terribly concerned about it

That bolt is the low hanging fruit on these sliders. I bent mine pretty good one of the first times out with them. I can't imagine it's doing much now anyway, and I'm not even a little concerned about it.

The way these are designed, that bolt doesn’t do much in the way of strength anyway

Ouch! Wouldve only gained a few mm and would probably still have to deal with a mangled bolt head but i think youre supposed to flip the bolt for install

GLWS op, love my mobtown sliders!

Your way definitely makes a lot more sense! I definitely followed the directions exactly, which show to install it in the orientation that I used.

I was going to put something up on TW Express but I was making this trip after work and didn't really want to be travelling longer than I needed to. All told it was 6 hours there and back. I was pretty tired by the time I got home.
