I bought one but in the paintable version and yes everything looked to fit just fine compared to my original. Although i returned mine since im picky because its not molded very well. Mainly in the areas around the lower step pad. Looks pretty rough. Also came in bent from lack of packing material. I could have filled it with some body filler before paint but you wouldnt have that option on a chrome one. Hopefully they make these better now idk. Just my two cents.

I'd say keep looking at on-line classifieds for used OEM ones, even if you've got to look outside the Rust Belt a bit. I've had a like-new take-off for sale forever that I feel people are only interested in around here if I'm giving it away for free. Good luck!

I just don't want one with any rust, that is the only part of the body with any rust so I wanted to get something clean. That is why I was going the aftermarket route. Has anyone else used these or have any recommendations? Thank you
