I put 303 on the Black Plastic trim and it washes off as soon as it rains. I see posts where guys like it for Soft Toppers . I have a Pace Edward Metal cover - 303 washes off that too and 303 is what they recommend. Any reply or link appreciated.

I use the 303 tire balm, not only on tires but the black trim on my truck and wife's SUV. I don't have a problem with it washing off with rain and usually will last a few (by hand) car washes.

This stuff I hear is great.

Thanks for the reply - I just have regular 303 - I'll try the Tire Balm or the Ceramic Trim - I watch Project Farm on Youtube all the time - thanks for the recommendation.

Does it wash off? I never noticed.
    I've used it on:
    -soft top
    -tires
-parts like dashboard (gets hit by sun)

    Why?
    -not too greasy
    -offers UV protection
-seems to stay on for a decent amount of time
-not that hard to apply to a clean surface. Apply, then buff with microfiber
-leaves a nice looking matte finish/sheen that looks better than other stuff on things like tires and dashboard

    None... yet.
I've used it for quite a lot of plastic, rubber, and vinyl cleaning/protecting. I've found it seems to last much longer if applied and allowed to sit in direct sunlight for a day or so. On items that are already quite faded, it's effects aren't nearly as noticeable though...

    Klasse for inside plastics

Gtechnique c4 for outside hard plastics

Ragtop cleaner / Ragtop protectant for soft vinyl like tonneaus.

If your cover is painted metal or fiberglass, just treat it like your body paint.

I gave my 303 products away. To me they are fine for a quick doll up on the buy here pay here car lot.

X2. 303 is a dressing which is why it rinses off in the rain. I got tired of it running down the paint after rain or heavy dew. For exterior plastics a coating like C4 is the way to go.
