What temperature sensor? Check all the connections, namely the MAF sensor and connector itself.

It has a temperature sensor under the intake manifold so had to take off the throttle body put all back together and now it will not idle

Do you have access to a scan tool?
And have you got a check engine light?

A lot of scan tools show live data.
I’d take a look at the new sensor data.
Beats pulling it all a part again.

Can you keep it running with the accelerator?
Did you clean the throttle body?
Otherwise double check all your work and as @TnShooter said if you have a scanner look at codes and scan data.

Scan tool, write down any error codes, hit clear error codes, try to see if there’s any improvement with idle.

If no, dig into what the codes are telling you. Maybe something isn’t plugged in good.
