Ah......not for me!

 

Yes sir. Last night 3/4 of my er were holds. Icu was covid pts (20) phase 2 was clean ICU (15-20?) And so on. Very high acuity level for most pts coming in, which are requiring serious interventions. Had a couple of ESI 1 (most life threatening) and lots of ESI 2. I can't move anybody due to a needed admission, every floor packed, plus extra areas, like pre-op for example, substituting for ICU. It also doesn't help that most people have given themselves permission to be an asshole. Very exhausting.

Sorry to hear, yeah it must be exhausting. Hope it gets better soon, but unfortunately doesn't look like it. Wife is already freaking out a little bit, especially with the kiddos headed back to school. Only time will tell, everyone just has to take care of themselves. We've been real fortunate

 

Wife and I are going to HF this next weekend. Taking the Tacoma and 4Runner. Anyone wants to join LMK !

Yesterday from Sun up to way past Sun down, I was 90mph almost all day, the heat index hit 114 here yesterday afternoon, dayuum it was hot.

 

I haven't forgotten about a Shiner Tour. I'm waiting to see my new call schedule to see what I can figure out. The other factor here is to see if the brewery will be shutting down again due to the obvious public health issues.

 

Yup, soon as school starts back up, the sharing of germs and viruses increases for everyone.

Best to wait and see on the brewery for sure Kevin. A new one opened near Lockhart, and I'd like to check it out first. Whole different brewing methods. Only open Sat and Sun though - no food. We'll see if it's worth a visit.

Good day by the pool with Carol and Rex. We were out there almost the whole time the ribs were smoking, and Rex lost a pound with all the swimming she made him do. Did the ribs dry except a light coat of Sweet Baby Rays' at the last hour. They was good!




Guess I'm going to start getting one large rack, instead of two small. We haven't quite finished the last two batches.

 

Hey guys and gals. I’m new here but about to possibly pickup a 2004 Tacoma v6 prerunner w TRD package Xtracab. It’s in about fair condition(plenty of scratches and dings as it was his construction work truck)and has 205k miles.

what do you think is a fair price to pay, and also can someone here mention a good first gen Tacoma mechanic so I can get a pre purchase inspection?

KBB says ~4,500$-7,000$ for a private party sale. I'd shoot for the middle ground around 5,000$-6,000$ personally. High mileage, by used vehicle standards (relatively low by Tacoma standards) and being that it was a work truck I would expect that it was obviously put through it's paces but probably not ragged on.
I'm not from SA so I don't have shop suggestions but the other guys here will be able to help with that.
