Led Taillights! Need to see them!!

The 2011 Tacoma Extended Cab has a taillight that is cracked. Looking for some Plug-n-Play Led replacements. I saw a thread for some,but the thread was so old,the links didn't work.

Yup.

 

If you're looking at the stock LED rear lights I would advise against them. The individual LED's give out and they're not easily replaceable. I'd recommend going to the standard incandescent bulb version of the earlier Tacoma's. Maybe a little more boring looking, but you won't have to worry about replacing the housing and the incandescent bulbs are cheap). Two of my LED's are already out.

 

I've had those Depo tail lights on for years. They look good, work in all weather - for years, and are plug and play. I highly recommend them.

I have these as well and really like them. They've been in my 08 DC Sport for a very long time and have held up well.

 

That's a great price. Amazon has them as well, but at a higher price.

Another vote for the dt_moto store on eBay that sells Spyder Xtune LED lights (P/N = ALT-ON-TT05-LBLED-RC, with red lens). Resistor built into the assembly, no messing around with hyper-flash. Depending on what harness your truck already has, you might need to buy (2) new Toyota 81555-04150 harnesses to make these work.

I've got these smoked ones on my 2013, and I'm very happy with them. Much brighter than stock, and they matched my 3rd brake light.

Only thing you do is swap your OEM taillight harness into these. As I got the smoked lens version, I also ordered a set of projector backup lights, which helped negate any light output caused by the lens.
