recently someone backed into the left side rear light assembly, I just replaced it with a new one. it had a secondary amber light converter wired in for a trailer and I did not reinstall it until I knew the swap worked. I also replaced the right side as well for cosmetic reasons, now I don't have tail lights on the right side rear and the right side front is dim. If you step on the brake and activate the turn signal on the left side it blinks fast and the tail light and the turn light alternates . ???????

Dimming and alternating would mean power is going somewhere else it should not...my bet is this new tail light has internal issues.

I have both wiring connectors unplugged from the lights and I still have no power to the right side. I am trying to find the j/b 1 and r/b2 boxes but cant find the integration relay which is that

Pat1313: I have the same damed thing going on. Did you ever find a solution? Turn signal/hazard works on Right side, but no tail or brake light. Left side is all good. Same fast-blink turn signal you describe, too.

Can you eleborate on "j/b 1 and r/b2 boxes"? Does this mean the power feed from the left and right sides are independent?

    Thanks.

Damn, same problem and nearly the same screen name!
By the way, OP never returned since the day of his post, so he's probably not coming back to check.

Chewy, yeah, weird similarity in names. As a cheap/stab-in-the-dark attempt, I just ordered a new tail light relay in case there's some division between L/R stemming from there. If not, it's only $12 spent. electrical gremlins are a PITA.
