Got all four shocks removed today to ship out to Accutune for a rebuild/revalve. Only the passenger side spherical bearing is bad but they were in need of a revalve anyway so taking the opportunity to do everything at once since I have the chance.

Accutune said it should just be a few days turn around on my shocks. Hoping I can get them back by next weekend when I'm done with this work outage and have a few days off so I can get the truck back together. Also got some Total Chaos spindle gussets from a buddy for $free.99 so I got those welded up last week. Just need to hit them with some paint and reinstall the bearings/hub so they'll be ready to go when the shocks get here.

Got the shocks back from Accutune last week. I installed them last Sunday as well as got the spindles with the new gussets installed. Ran into an issue with the spindles though. Since I'm running SPC upper arms with ball joints, the threads are not long enough to get the castle nut on and properly installed with a cotter pin. So I found some nylock nuts to use in the mean time as well as applied some blue loctite to the threads above the nylon insert. I found some low profile castle nuts online and ordered them. They have arrived now and I think they're going to work perfectly to replace the nylock nuts. Unfortunately a couple hours after getting everything back together, I tested positive for Covid. So the 4Runner has just been sitting in the garage untouched since last Sunday. In a few days when I'm done with quarantine, I'll get back out and put the new castle nuts on and see if that is going to solve my problems.

And he needs to upgrade those gears and add a RTT to bring them MPG's down to 13mpg range.
