i have a 2015 TRD sport long bed. It has an ARE shell on it. Are there roof racks that extend part way back onto the shell?

Too much flex between cab and cap so it couldn’t attach to both.

You would need two roof racks. As mentioned, there is too much flex between the bed and the cab. You would cause too much damage. Here's my prinsu racks

My cap came with roof tracks so I installed Rhino Ditch Tracks in the ditch channels and use Thule square bars when I need them. 5 minutes off or on and I now have 2 full sets so I can do 2, 3, 4 bars or none and not have the wind noise and loss of aerodynamics. Podium feet are wider and seem sturdier and Tracker feet are qr.
