Apologies in advance if this should be in the welcome section or somewhere else, but so far beside my welcome post I have been only lurking and reading everyone else's post and so thought it was time to post mine because I have been putting it off due to my lack of quality pictures. I don't have better ones but I might as well post something.

I bought a 2011 Access Cab TRD sport with 82k miles on it, with the factory tow package but otherwise stock. I took it to a trusted mechanic before I bought and got the green light. So far I have not done too much to it, but I will say that the forums here have been a tremendous help in not only selecting the vehicle but getting an idea of what to do and in what order.

First thing I did was put a catalytic guard on it since theft if rampant where I live, it also allegedly doubles as a skid plate but the aluminum it is made out of will tell the true tale. I did do an oil change and had the transmission fluid exchanged and put a tailgate lock on.

More recently I got a camper shell for the back. I believe it came off a 1st Gen, so it does not fit perfectly but I really liked the shape of it and I got it for a great price so I have slowly working on that. Had to replace the back window and paint it black. There are some leaks as well which I expected so that is the next project.

Overall I love this car, I have been driving 20 year old rust buckets for a while so this has been a huge step up, went on some fun drives in the sierras, death valley and joshua tree, and have been learning a lot on what I would like to do next.

Even had my first flat in it on the very first road trip
