    It’s totally normal to hear sounds like that
    Fuel injectors ; relays clicking on and off
    Ac clutch
    Pulleys
    Fuel pump
    Does the truck run good ?
    If you want get an oil analysis
    I think it will be fine
    If oil is good just drive it and stop listening
    I always say the people who enjoy cars are people who just get in turn the radio on and drive

    Be thankful it isn't a Harley V-Twin. It would sound like nuts and bolts rattling around in a coffee can.

    Honestly the only time I ever notice my truck ticking is at a drive-up line when it has a wall to bounce off and my window is open. Even then it's certainly not loud.

    Same ticking here, but only after it's warmed up and idling for a while. It's definitely not a smooth sounding engine all the time. There's no shame in getting a different vehicle if it really bothers you that much and thankfully you bought a Toyota so you should make out pretty good when you sell it.
