Hey all, I'm new here...don't even have the truck yet (currently have a 2008 FJ), but I'm going down that feverishly obsessive rabbit hole of what I'll be doing to a perfectly good truck once it arrives. I did search for it, but came up with nothing specific to my question. I understand the MT PROs don't have the JBL setup, which I've read is a good thing. They also don't have a sub, save for extra storage space. That being said, I'd like to replace the sound system and it would be nice to put a sub in the spot it goes for the AT. Is this possible?

    Thanks y'all!

I think all PRO's have the JBL set-up. But I may be wrong.

Oddly, the MT does not. Some have speculated that Toyota didn't want to bother with an added expense on a fringe vehicle (i.e., a pro and one that is MT, at that). I'm skeptical.

Yep, Toyota does not offer JBL with any MT trim. They know we will buy it no matter what.

Yep, you can do all the things if you dont have the JBL system, go check out the audio subforum for lots of info on this.

Check out my thread here if you want to go overboard on the system.

Nice! Thanks for linking me to this...overboard is exactly what I'm going to do. It's a good way to keep me from doing things I need to do like pain the house and mow the lawn.
