Tacoma ECU/ Transmission Mod

I have a 2021 Tacoma V6 Auto trans. I am looking for a ECU/ Transmission mod. I see that OVtune has one, but I don't want to spent $730 ($340 for the interface, $390 for the tune pak).
Has anyone come up with a cheaper solution?

You could always get a Pedal Commander and convince yourself it's the same as a tune...

You could pay an installer (~$350) to tune your beast....

You could even look into becoming an installer in order to make the money back if you plan on doing it yourself.

Pm @PapaRee or @TWTaco . They can hook you up with someone near you to tune your taco . It’s money well spent and might become your favorite mod

 

vF Tuner spent a couple years cracking this nut. There are a few other options, but none this robust. Get setup or pay someone to flash you. Folks are listed in the Feelers thread below or on the vF Tuner website, though the map is a bit out of date.

 

KDMax has a great network of tuners. Any of them would be happy to answer your questions, and there is a Google Map showing all of their locations. The VF Tuner website has map listings for Pro tuners as well.
