    Hello everybody,

I had my evap system lights on and figured it could just be a bad gas cap. So I replaced that hoping it was that simple. It was not that simple and still isn't for some reason. Had the smoke test done and found out the canister needed to be replaced. Now that I have a new canister the evap lights came back on... The truck runs great so I have no idea what else this could be. Any ideas? Anyone have this same issue happen to them? I'm really hoping it's not an electrical issue because when I was looking into replacing the canister I did see some people mention that.

    Thanks in advance!

Try disconnecting battery first and replacing the Purge Valve Solenoid under the hood near PCV !I did and my CEL and TRAC OFF light w/ a P0441 code went away ! I had this last week and did it over the Weekend ! about $50 for the part at Advance auto parts !

You wouldn't happen to have a part number for that purge valve would you? Want to make sure I get the right one and since it looks like you have a V6 '13 like I do I'm betting it's the same part.

It would be helpful to know the code number as there's several different evap codes pertaining to different parts of the system.
