    The X-Runner has its place, and is a dam cool truck IMHO.

    no need to get angry everyone. i think most of us agree that it took some balls for ford to produce such a niche truck (similar to the x-runner, just the oposite side of the spectrum). but being a factory produced truck, it is more of a "budget" build relative to the all out LT setups members on here are running.

    If I didnt off road at all, I might. I think a 4 door X would be pretty cool.

    Ageed, if I had an extra $50K I would purchase it! It has all the bells and whistles. The problem is Fords reliability, I think it has gotten better, but I am pretty sure that my Taco will live it as a daily driver.

    Doubt it would keep up with a tacoma running long travel. Huge difference in the travel numbers.

    Raptor = 11.2 front and 13.1 rear

    LT tacoma is pulling 14-16 up front and 16 in the rear plus for the price difference in the trucks you could get as good shocks plus air bags for towing and still have money left over.

    yes, but then you get into the whole argument that someone who has built/installed an aftermarket LT setup has (in theorey) butilt it a lot stronger than any fartory mid travel setup, and it is less likely to break.

    also, dealerships tend to not want to warraty broken parts if the truck was used off road...even if it was built for it.

    EDIT:this post is reffering to any after market LT setup, not just tacos.

    All depends on how you use it... pussy foot it and of course it won't break. Beat on it long enough an eventually something is gonna give. warranty? Shit I had to fight for three weeks to get my rear end covered. You just gotta stay on there ass!:D

    My local dealer has the double cab Raptor in orange out front. Gotta say...excluding the pricetag it sure is damn good looking IMO. Im more partial to the white one, but Ive got to hand it to them...its a nice looking rig.
