In Florida something like this would go for around 15K no problem. They hold their value

^This person clearly doesn't live on the west coast.

Condition will matter a lot, and IMO the fact that it's missing the front fenders is a big downside. And always, heavily modded is tougher to sell than closer to stock. I'm not as familiar with values for modded trucks up north but here in CA I think that'd sell in a day for $15k as long as the paint and interior are in good condition. And you could likely get $20k for it - again, assuming paint and interior are in good condition. The mods and chance of somethings looking/being "unfinished" I think is what holds back value here.

As a reference, I bought my 2010 with 192k miles a year and a half ago for $16k. Nearly stock, above average condition for the year. It sold VERY quickly. I regularly see lower mileage trucks listed around $20k and they seem to sell pretty quickly.

Appreciate the feedback. I'm probably going to throw it up for 22k and see what happens. Worst case i keep it, and just buy another truck.
Appreciate the detailed input and you make good points, this is a project and i'd wrap up the little things before listing (modify front flares/reinstall, trim rear fenders). Paint is good, interior is clean, air lines don't leak, lockers engage, blah blah. I'll probably get it listed slightly over 20 and the market will let me know whats what from there. Thanks again to everyone for their input and consider this thread closed.

O.P. just so you are aware, lots of guys avoid 2005-06 Tacoma's due too possible head gasket and motor mount issues that happen around your millage,so don't pass up on a reasonable offer.

I wanted to ask the same question
couldn't tell if it was the pivots
or also visual effect from having those front fender flares removed

Hey hey! A fellow Washingtonian! Free Cascadia!

Make sure to advertise on the east side - Yakima, Tri Cities, Spokanistan, etc. etc. Portland as well.

I'm sure your truck will find a new owner soon.

But yeah, unless you find the right swingin' dick you'll probably take an L on the mods.

I'm not quite ready to sell the truck, so not parting things out yet. I do have another set of Wet Okole seat covers for the front seats only if you're interested (tan/black). They are in good shape, but a little dirty as they came with the truck.

Seattle is in Cascadia? Next to Washington?

And all 500 of them have posted here on TW. If a 2005-06 Tacoma has a flat tire, it's because of a bad head gasket.

If the OP's truck was stock with the shell, $10-14K easy. Modifications limit the market. You'll sell it.
