Anyone here ever install OME 887's on their factory Baja or Pro Bilstein shocks? I currently have 886's with 5100's set at zero for 3" lift. I'm wanting to take it back down to 1.75-2.25" lift max. I have the factory shocks which are still good (only 26k miles on them) 2015 Pro red coilsprings with only 9k miles on them (bought these to replace my factory 2013 BAJA red coilsprings because one broke at the top while in storage). I also have the OME 887's with 6k miles on them. My question is with my truck setup which of these configurations can net me between 1.75"-2.25" lift. My 2013 Tacoma Baja dcsb has a Demello steel winch bumper with led nighlights and a TuffStuff 12.5k lb winch with steel cable. I have SPC uca's up front and taco tabs for alignment needs. Thanks for your help in advanced. All of these pictures are with 265 75 16's, I originally did the lift and ran 285 75 16's but I tow and haul daily so the 285's were only on for a year before going back to 265's.

Current 3" lift with Demello bumper and winch weight full 3" with added weight.

I was gonna vote for the original setup with the Toytec Spring Seat Spacer, especially since you have the softer coils(Pro: 600lbs). I unfortunately have no idea about the OME’s, I don’t recall any of us switching to those

i’m fairly certain 887’s will not fit on the OE pro/baja bilstein shocks. they need a spring with a 3” ID and 887’s are a 2.5” ID.

i’m casting my vote with @Island Cruiser

Has anyone upgraded their Baja wheels with the Sema OEM ones? And if so what lug nuts did you. Not sure if I can use the same ones.

I removed the one Baja coilspring today to compare all three. The red coil that is supposed to be from a 2015 Pro is the same length as the ome 887 while the Baja coil is shorter. Could the red coil be a dobinsons or eibach or ??? I can't find anything on the part numbers on them.

My passenger side spring snapped this past weekend on my 2015 TRD Pro. Right now, I plan on replacing the front springs with OEM ones (PTR13-3510-AA) and keeping the rest of my stock Pro suspension since my truck only has 77k miles. Would I be better off running aftermarket springs so this doesn't happen again or sticking with OEM? Thanks in advance!

I’d stick with oem. There is no guarantee that aftermarket springs will fit your shocks. Although I could be wrong. I also believe someone asked a similar question in the last page or so of this thread

@seoulja99 educated me that Eibach makes majority of the springs for the big name brands as well as our Bilstein’s. I’d stick with OEM/Eibach family. I believe these are like the 2.5

Same thing happened to my 2013 Baja coilspring but not while on the truck, waited to snap in storage. I must've dropped the other coilspring/shock setup on top of it and hit the sweet spot.

Seems like that’s about the life expectancy of these springs and shocks. If you like the ride and height, I agree with the other replies above to OEM / Eibach.

Someone put king springs on, you just need to measure the inside diameter and unmounted length. Then buy whatever spring is in stock.
    600 inlbs for the pro
    650 inlbs for the Baja

Since I'm going to have to replace the springs anyway, I'm thinking of replacing the shocks as well. Probably doesn't make much sense to do the just the springs if my shocks are getting close to their life expectancy? Anyone have any experience running a setup like this? My truck is my daily driver and the main off roading I do is driving on the beaches.
