Try setting the two on one side. Then spear the other two with screwdrivers on the second side. Once those two are in place you can more easily pull one screwdriver and replace with a bolt. Repeat for #4. You still have to hold it in place with some Popeye juice though.

Also, make sure your jacknuts aren’t moving around on you. That’ll throw things off with the bolt.

Thanks for linking these! I used Meso's jacknut tool to install these and I really like them compared to the stock handles.

Huge thank you to @reymataco for sending me some hex plates and hardware to install quickfist mounts for my fire extinguisher and flashlight!

Is there an access cab variant? I'm sorry if it was already covered somewhere in the last 86 pages, I worked backwards from the end to page 65 and didn't find it.

Not yet and the suggested alternatives just don’t do it for me. The sunroof version looks like a close fit... I just don’t want to spend the $ to experiment. There is considerable interest from what I’ve seen so far. I’m sure @MESO noticed, so maybe next time. He’s got a guaranteed sale with a few of us.

Ordered my hex mounts from @reymataco and used quik fist gun mounts. Extremely happy!

This thread has aged some now…. Wondering if anybody has some good recommendations for low profile molle pouches so I can start storing some crap up there to justify the purchase.

Has anyone else had a hard time getting the hexrack installed? I'm installing the rack into my '21 DCSB non-sunroof and the included spacers seem like they're twice as tall as they should be. Either that or the rack is about an inch too wide or the angles aren't bent enough or something. I've got the screws in one side, barely tightened so it still has play, and am flexing the rack as much as I can into the roof with the top of my head and I still can't get a third screw in. @MESO can you help a brother out? Am I doing something wrong? I got all 4 jacker offers in just fine without issue.

Edit: I read back further and finding lots of similar problems with the non-sunroof model. I guess I'll try the inverted method of putting my foot into the rack instead of my head to get that extra needed flex. I'd really not rather skip the spacers altogether but maybe I'll try to source some shorter ones that work.

Start one side, then push up hard in the middle of the rack(almost preloading it) the. The other side should go in. It’s a tight fit but takes a little finesse.

It works/fits. Finesse isnt in my skill set, i just pushed till it lined up. Its a super tight fit. But, it fits.
@ClassyTacos did a great install video on YouTube. I used it as my guide.

Thanks guys, I checked out Classy Taco's video, what an absolute savage setup! Meso, it must be great seeing people do such awesome stuff with your products

Anyhow, his fit looked way easier than mine, there's no way in hell it's going it by just propping it with my wrist/elbow and sending the screws at an aggresive angle, but I'm gonna go back out in a minute here to give it another shot.

I struggled too. Ended up grabbing a few screwdrivers and ‘pinning’ each hole in place. I’d remove one at a time and replace with the appropriate bolt.

Meant to give a shoutout to RushT and Goatfrog, their words of wisdom was a big help (and confidence booster). I convinced my girlfriend to use her leg power to push up the rack from the middle which got it all lined up with no issue.
