    Hello all!

I just joined and I'm happy to be here with my 2021 TRD Off Road double cab short bed. It's my first ever brand new vehicle and I couldn't be happier.

I traded in my Ford Mustang to get the Tacoma and I haven't felt sad about it once. I did decide to keep my 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited though for sentimental reasons and as something I won't feel so bad beating on.IMG_20210729_195259_744.jpg IMG_20200601_170832_398.jpg IMG_20210417_141425_028.jpg

    Thanks!
I'd had it for about six years and while it was a lot of fun I had some bad memories tied up in it with an ex and to be honest I drove too fast and felt my luck was running out. So mow I get a fresh start and something that's slow haha.

Haha! I owned mostly sports cars before getting my Tacoma, and I have to say that now I enjoy just being another slow guy in the right lane. I guess I really am getting old...

Who belongs to the FJ Cruiser next to your Taco? Next door neighbor? Did they talk you into buying a Toyota?

Some are better than others, but all are for the most part reliable and will last for years. BEWARE when you go to the dealership for anything. What you might have saved when you bought the truck, they'll manage to pry out of you, if you're not watching. My Tacoma is the 10th Toyota vehicle I've owned since 1976, and still have 4 of them. Two got totalled during the course of their lives..

I felt such a weight off my shoulders this weekend when a Camaro flew by me and I didn't feel obligated to race him haha.

The FJ belongs to my Dad, my Mom drives a Lexus GX470. So I was the only hold out in a Toyota family.

I am aware of the games dealerships play, I worked in the parts department for various makes (including a Toyota dealer for a year) for about the last decade before switching professions.
