I live in N.GA & we just had 9-10" snow. My duratracs have 45k miles on them (down to wear bar) & they still perform better in the snow & ice than a brand new set of BFG's. I will buy another set (only slightly noiser than BFG's) just for that fact. I could not have gone a lot of places I have been on other AT tires.

congrats on the life, but I don't think you'll get that kind of life out of another set. (I heard Lurry was hitting the sauce at work and pee'd on a few of them...)

Actually, I really like trying different brands of tires, but could not find anything that looked as agressive as Dura's except full on MT's. The only other consideration was D cepek AT, but just didn't like the look enough. These Dura's performed up to my expectations with reasonable road noise, so I will go with them again.

Just got a set myself and I've had them for a few months. We finally got some snow and I am very impressed. I have not even had to use my 4 wheel drive yet and we have had over 10 inches here in MA recently.

I have had BFG and MT and I believe that these Duratracs are much better in the snow.
