it would be too difficult to capture without proper audio equipment.

it’s fairly loud under load and cruising it’s a slight rumble. You know it’s there while driving normally but it’s not obnoxious nor does it drone on the highway.

Anyone do the Thorley header install? I've got the dreaded manifold leak and I am exploring my options. I have an '06 and am curious if I should get the '05-'09 headers with SAIS or if I should go with the '03-'04 headers w/out SAIS and get the Hewitt SAIS delete.

Also not sure if I should go long or short tube etc. Would love to hear what others have done or would do given the choice...

I’m planning on pulling the motor out of mine and will do this before getting it back in.

Thanks. I don't have FB, but looks like Hewitt can answer questions and lead me in the right direction for SAIS delete.

I'm still up in the air if I want long vs short though. Sounds more expensive, but I kind of want to go short and run a system similar to stock (2 cats etc).

I just texted the guy who makes the plates. He says he has a new solution. I’m gonna call him shortly and find out what he says.

I’m gonna do long tubes and no cats, because I can turn off the rear cats in VFTuner :)

I’m also gonna have Hewitt help me completely remove the entire SAIS system, also working with OVTune to see if it’s possible to disable it within the ECU instead of having to buy a kit or a emulator.

Another little update. Solar rigged up with this cheap Costco kit. Plan on using a DCDC/MPPT Solar later so that the battery charges off the alternator, but for now, this works fine.

Pictures of one installed? Looks simple and clean. Are they going to be doing rear bumpers as well?

That bumper looks outstanding but it just doesn't look like it would offer a ton of help in the event of an accident. Seems like it wouldn't take much for the hood and fenders to get crumpled.
