folks, I really do not mean to hijack a thread, and this is probably against the rules of Tacoma world and for that I am sorry, I just know that the towing forum doesn't get a whole lot of love, I recently added some questions to this post and I am just hoping to get some eyes on it considering this is the weekend AND this trip I'm referencing is all of a sudden like weeks away and I'm in a small panic.

SO until the mods put me in timeout or whatever (again I'm sorry) I'd like to ask friends to check out the questions I asked at the end of this thread please.

First post on here so I figured I’d make it count. Have owned my 2019 TRD off-road for 2 years and decided to give it a lift. I went with the Bilstein 5100 front and rear shocks, went to the 5th notch on the front shocks and used the OEM coils. On the back I added a 1” block to level the truck out with a 2/1 lift. I threw some 32” falken wildpeaks on the OEM TRD pro rims and oh boy do they look good. I have since driven the truck over 300 miles and can say I was not expecting the wildpeaks to be that quiet. I also enjoy the stiffer ride, feels more like a truck. Overall I am so pleased with the set-up, don’t know what took me so long to do this…..oh I know….the gas mileage! I drive a lot for work but still managed to get 18-19 hwy and 16-17 city. Beyond worth it now in my opinion. Let me know what ya’ll think! Relocated the CARPLAY USB and wired the existing USB to be a regular charger only because I got tired of seeing the cable all over the center console.

    upload_2021-8-6_19-24-47.jpg

This is what I did to the radio to CARPLAY USB harness. After I took this picture I added a additional female USB adaptor as well in case I need to do any firmware updates in the future. Now my iPhone cable comes out between the console and carpet just below the e-brake since I leave my phone between the e-brake and console it works perfectly for me. upload_2021-8-6_19-33-32.jpg

So far I’ve managed 1,300 miles since last Saturday traveling from Pensacola Florida to north of Eaton Ohio. Now we’re in Albany Kentucky and should be in Chattanooga again tomorrow night. On the Worlds Longest Yardsale doing lots of picking now hauling back a 6X12 uhaul about 1/3 full and putting on some weight. Got a slight squat now, managed to strap down 4 vintage doors to the top of the uhaul roof, scored a free extra heavy duty cargo netting so put that to use.

The 360 camera is really nice. OK if I add those two photos to the DIR thread?

Thanks! And go for it! I meant to do it a while back but I always forget if it's in the 3G section or BST. Lol.
