British Columbia Thread within Canada within Region

Although I'm bias AF as I live and have always lived in BC with 2 small caveats. (HI and SK) .. I would like to request the creation of a British Columbia forum within the Canada Forum.

There is currently an Ontario Forum, which is awesome to see, as (the saying goes in Canada) people in Ontario do believe the world revolves around TO.

However, as British Columbia has many amazingly diverse landscape, diverse people and especially a massive and dynamic group of Tacoma and 4Runner owners who mod, overland, travel, fish, hunt, 4x4, off-road, work in SAR, Military and sooo much more!

As well, BC is far removed from the typical news and views of much of the rest of the provinces as our oceans, forests and god-help-us politics vary on so many levels.

I believe (could be stone-cold wrong) that there would be a lot of generated content/interest for Overlanding History/Routes, planned trips, camp setups specific to that region, vendor information as we have a lot of off-road vendors in this area and many cater to Toyota and few others.

Let me know if I'm wrong or if something else is needed to make this come to fruition?

I definitely agree with you, we should have our own forum, world class scenery, trails and a lot of great builds.

 

Hows the fire smoke my guy? We're getting some much needed cloud & rain on the island, hoping it heads your way soon.

 

We're in Vernon and we were put on evacuation alert in the middle of the night. It was downright spooky how dark it got yesterday when the wind changed direction and the smoke blew in. The lights outside at work came on around 2 in the afternoon

That said: Yes, give us our own forum thread

JK I'm from BC but currently living in Ontario, so when I eventually move back I'll need a thread to call home! I will lurk from the depths for the time being...Let's get it goin'

 

Smoke is okay today, yesterday wasmuch better here. Yeah Vernon is just crazy right now! Stay safe!
