If that old truck could talk, imagine the stories it could tell.

    Still alive, mostly.

Stayed home sick yesterday. Sinuses are running like a sonofabitch, sore throat, headache.

Slept on and off yesterday, I've eaten one package of ramen in 36 hours and knocked myself out with Tylenol PM for 12 hours.

I'm feeling a bit better but the cough/headache combo is getting old.

The only electrical mod would be the additional 2 leads directly to the battery that trickle charger hooks to. I believe not to long ago when I pulled it in the garage where it gets parked, I didn't shut the ignition off all the way, hooked it up to trickle charger and it stayed that way a week or so. I don't know if that could have fried something or not. I did unhook the brain box and draw went down to near zero. The manual suggest as you say start unhook things to isolate the source.
I'll mess with that later. Also in the meantime going to see if Google shows any common problems.

Some research indicates that my model year of quad and some years past 05, have notorious weak charging system and a ECU that had a recall on it. I'll investigate the recall on Monday. 16 years later it starts having issue. Low miles and hours for it's age.20210804_200012.jpg

That was my old job, I was there 12 hours a day and routinely left with more on my list to do at the end of the day than when I started. I don't miss it.

My jobs not that bad fortunately. I worked on a few projects that are quite a ways down the pipeline this week.
It's the things around the house, kids vehicle stuff, my own stuff general maintenance that I find it hard to keep up. I try to take fairly good care of everything so it last me awhile.
