3-1/2 hours of mowing & trimming today, the homestead looks pretty passable -- from the road. (Especially if you drive by quickly.)

Installed a new instrument panel for a customer today… not a bad job but was hot and the sweat was dripping profusely! Dealer wanted roughly 700.00 including the panel to install this… panel was 240.00:eek: I quoted 100.00 … about 1.5 hours…. Then I tried starting the tractor… battery dead:anonymous: customer on vacation …. I took battery home to charge it… it’s always something. I personally not a fan of the green tractors. Now my thoughts are… when was the last time this thing ran… probably won’t start o_O

The one I'm fighting with I got from the B-I-L, it is 20 years old and a tree fell on it.

As long as you avoid doing something similar you are probably safe.:laugh:

Do you guys see a lot of poison ivy / oak around you? I swear I'm just a magnet for it. So frustrating it seems to take over my flowerbeds in just a few days time. I was gone a week this time and it had grown about 7 feet straight up the side of the house. It's such a pain to deal with! When I tackle it I always wash myself and all my tools down with tecnu twice and yet here I am already with bumps forming on my hand and forearm.

Now I've got a pile of it by the garage that I need to figure out how to dispose of. Normally I use the green dump for $20 a truckload but I don't really want this crap all over the bed of my Taco.
    What a pain! :annoyed:

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!!

Happy Sunday to you! Looks like a good day to spend at the pool. We were weathered out last night for the planned hot air balloon flight - winds aloft were too fast. We have flights scheduled for tonight, Monday and Tuesday - hoping the weather cooperates.

    Stay safe out there!!

I've always just carried AAA and had a kit at home if I needed it here. Ordered a decent kit to keep in the truck but now I also need to deal with the airing up after plugging issue.

    Morning PA!

Another early start at work after a long night!Screenshot_20210808-063117.jpg

Pulled in the final for the Goshen Fair tug-o-war and we won! First time in a while. Sore all over but it feels great to finally get a win after a couple of years in the final pull.

Good morning. Grass is growing slow with all this hot, generally dry weather, but it is not burning up yet. It looks like I am going to get a few more days between cuts. That's good. After cutting for 4 months, I am getting tired of doing it.
