8A1B14C4-A203-4657-8811-CC8633FFC7BE.jpg I expect the answer will be NO, the OEM radio unit likely had a video screen? Dunno, it was gone when I got the truck. PO was 87 and still was driving. He couldn’t see the Spdo, or hear the radio. He thought an Aftermarket radio would help,………. Nope. And the Macular Degeneration wasn’t going to get better either. He’s seated in my Avitar. he gave up driving on his own. Later on, the Estate gave me the truck. Not sure why I relate all this but I miss him.
Is there a reasonable way to get the rear camera in the Cab? I do see the camera, and the wiring passes through the tailgate hinge point. Curious if anyone here has done something similar?

You should be able to buy an aftermarket camera and they usually hook up with the red and yellow connection

What year is it, the factory radio options varied from year to year.
If the OE radio had the backup screen and the wiring wasn't hacked you could find a used OE radio and install it, there are also various aftermarket options that can use the factory camera and wiring.

I have a 2011 base model and the OEM radio did not have a screen. I had a Sony unit from my previous vehicle that I moved over, and picked up an OEM style tailgate handle from Amazon that had an aftermarket type camera. All I needed to do was run a signal cable from the camera to the head unit. I also set up a switched power source for the camera, since the head unit has a mode to turn on the camera when not in reverse (useful for keeping an eye on the hitch when towing). I followed the factory wiring path, and have zero issues.

You should be able to follow the wiring. Its likely run along the drivers side frame up through a rubber grommet somewhere under the driver's side seat. If you remove the tailgate plastic panel to view the camera, post a pic of it and we can tell you fairly quickly if its OEM or aftermarket. Its much more difficult to hook up an oem camera to an aftermarket radio since it works off only 6V instead of an aftermarket camera which are 12V. Can be done but not worth the trouble.
