I have a 2008 Tacoma. It has the 6 cylinder and 6 speed manual transmission. It recently started making a whirring noise that I need help identifying. The clutch isn't slipping and everything is working as it should as far as I can tell. I bought the truck with 89,000 miles and it now has 140,000. The noise stops when I push the clutch in just even a half inch or so. It only makes the noise when the clutch is not depressed.

I have uploaded a video to youtube so you can also hear the noise.

Thank you for any help that anyone provides.

Had the throw out bearing go out on an old Nissan I owned years back, sounded similar to this--so another point for the TO bearing.
