Power steering fluid from factory

Hello everyone. I had a 2019 Tacoma trd sport A/T with 10k miles when I bought it and I noticed it had power steering fluid in it rather than Dexron 3 like it calls for in the owners manual. So I called a couple different toyota dealerships and got the same answer from all saying that it should have dexron 3. So is it a special toyota formula from factory? It seems much thinner than the dexron 3 and smells just like power steering. I actually sold that truck back to Toyota after I added a nice 20k to it and they bought it back for msrp because of the chip shortage. Then I went and found a brand new 2021 M/T TRD Off-Road and I love it so much more than the sport. But I also noticed that it has the same fluid that my last tacoma had. Does anyone know what it is?

 

It is Dexron 3 without the red dye additive.

 

Ok that's kinda what I had seen in the past but I wasn't sure because it seems alot thinner.
