Extang Xceed Tonneau Stripped Brackets

Hi There

Anyone have an Extang Xceed tonneau cover? This is a hard cover which folds all the way up and is held by two arms connected into brackets. Over the weekend my neighbor fell back into the cover as it was folded up and ripped the brackets off as shown in the pictures. I called Extang and was pretty much given the party line of it can't be fixed.

I figured I'm not the first person this happened to, so I was seeing if anyone out there has any ideas.

Follow up
I called Extang customer support and after some back and forth, they sent me a brand new cover, the whole enchilada. I was extremely surprised and have to say it was some of the best customer service I have ever dealt with.
