Buddy and I decided to explore a local park to bbq. His F150 is stuck, I’m a Prerunner and don’t think I can budge him. He has a trailer hitch in the truck but no hitch pin. We’re in Pope Duval Park. Anybody in Jax available to help?

Update: Buddys father brought us some lumber to try and get under the tires. No luck. I’ve driven in and out a few times. We have another truck on the way will update shortly

dude I seriously appreciate the offer. I had a shackle receiver and a strap, I didn’t realize other truck didn’t have anything. We went out to bbq, never even got to bbq. However his truck is out now, no damage. Looked like he slipped into a much larger tires ruts trying to go around a hole.

Aftermath on my Taco. Had it for a week since getting it back, first time this Tacos ever been in the dirt.

I am always down to go play. 12 years ago I was super active with TW, put together a few meets. I miss my TRD Off Road, this Sport is awesome but I miss the locker, maybe after I regear that’ll go on the list. Recently quit drinking, 164 days sober after 6 years of daily drinking to sleep. Getting back to my old hobbies, dropped 80lbs so far in 2021. Felt good getting back out and being me again.

I uh... Was joking about Richloam.

Did it once (me @:45) but not really riled to do it again, similar story to your friend went through a hole fell off the center mound and into buggy tracks was stuck for only a few minutes as I had other member showing me around but still water logged my carpet. Without a snorkel I would have been buying another engine for sure that trip.

Totally down for something else though!

Locker is awesome but sometimes it just gets you even stucker!

Congrats on sobriety! So close to six months! I'm 16mo sober, down 50lbs hair skin mood mind all much better than when I was drinking for sleep, also much more active with my hobbies, so much was falling apart.

Stay sober and hit me up if you need help.

I must be thinking of Hardrock or Citrus. No way my trucks gonna handle that LOL.

My ‘05 was locked and never let me down. Granted, I also avoided water crossings and stayed more towards easy trails and washouts.

It’s amazing how much better life gets sober. I went through a rough patch a few years back and overnight turned to booze. Thought I could just work and get off and drink the pain away. It just made it worse. Mental health went down the gutter! One day I just had enough, bought alcohol got home didn’t drink it. Then I didn’t the next night, and the night after that, and so on. It’s still in my fridge to remind me how far I’ve come. I’ve got about another 80lbs to drop but I am better off mentally, physically and spiritually then I’ve been in a long, long time.

Congrats on your sobriety. Hit me up if ya ever need someone. We all gotta support each other.

Ball joint spacers and lift blocks, am I doing it right?
That was a fun day, had a gator swim across the "trail" in front of me.

Great job getting off the booze. I quit a little over a year ago. Down 45 pounds and haven't felt better in years.

    Thanks for yoking me out!

    Congrats on quiting drinking too!

It's amazing how it creeps up on and consumes you when you're vulnerable.

Would you believe even after all this time, after pulling the seats shop vacing 5 gallons out if the floor, lifting the carpet for two days with blower fans underneath and after having two damp rid buckets for months in there the plastic on the carpet still condensated in the sun from moisture trapped in the plastic backed jute underliner when I got it out?

Never going 4 wheel swimming again.

    PXL_20210807_201517599.jpg

Just glad there was surprisingly no smell, dampness or mold but much happier to have the utility vinyl "carpet".

Ripped all the jute off the back of it as I put Dynamat and Dynapad down, nothing to hold water now which is good because the vinyl definitely won't breath half as good as the carpet, which apparently wasn't anyways.
