I know this has been beat to death but I can’t seem to find the information with my issues. Y technical skills are low, but I’m learning all the time and not scared to tackle things so I can learn.

My issue is, 4x4 will not engage. No light flashing either. I was wheeling and it intermittently worked one day then just stopped.

so far, I’ve determined that my Tcase is fine. As the front drive shaft is receiving signal from my switch to activate. It is moving and locking the front driveshaft, and I verified that it does lock. But nothing at my front ADD actuator. No sound or anything. Tried the hammer trick. Notta

I’ve read some things about the position switch on the Tcase to test, and this is my next step. The ADD actuator is actually only 3 months old, a dorman brand. It’s possible that shit the bed, but it stopped working before I ever saw any mud, or forded rivers etc. So I’m not convinced.

Is there something else I can check? Where does the add actuator get its signal from? So I can check if there’s any voltage being sent to the actuator.

    Thanks in advanced.

I'm asuming you have the transfer case with the 4wd button?
