Srs light

I'm not sure if it's a coincidence but when my wife got in the passenger seat my srs light came on. I read about a passenger sensor does anybody have any information on trouble shooting this light. Tia

You’re going to need to know the code for the SRS light.
You can pull them yourself, you’ll need a small jumper wire.

Thanks guy's I'm out of town so when I get back I'm going to pull codes. My scan gauge showed no codes so I'm assuming it's not able to read these errors. I think this one's gonna cost me

 

The Scan Gauge can only read codes from the engine computer, SRS codes you will have to get manually or with a capable scanner.
Maybe you will get lucky and it's just a loose wire under the seat, I see that quite alot.

Go by an auto zone or oriellys, or other auto parts store. I believe they will pull the codes for free.
