Securing rear seatbelts

    Hey. The back seat seatbelts have that little clip on the side pillars to secure the straps when they aren’t being used. The clips do the job of keeping the shoulder straps from flapping around too much. Even when the straps are tucked into the clips the metal latches still flop against the plastic sides of the truck and are noisy on bumpy roads. Duh, I just realized that you can slip the latch end of the belt into the clip on the side pillars and it keeps the whole seatbelt apparatus snug and quiet. Clearly Toyota designed it this way. Maybe someone else will find this quieting.

    I’ll take a picture as soon as the sun comes up. It’s just a simple little “ah ha,” but a cab with fewer rattles is a good thing!

    Sounds like maybe he is clipping the metal buckle in instead of the belt part.
