Sourcing the stuff can sometimes be a challenge. Mouser, digikey, corsa-technic, and hi1000-ec are good starts. As to what goes with what switch, I usually just bug @caribe makaira or @kmorgan3 If that doesn’t work, just a lot of clicking through pictures. With experience you at least learn how to narrow down where to start, but that’s about it. These forums are on awesome resource of knowledge, so don’t be shy to ask around. If there is anything in particular you are looking for, let us know and maybe we can help. Or I can at least @ someone for you :rofl:Another thing I came across in my hunting was this: https://fliphtml5.com/neiyb/ucts/basic/201-250
It is sorted by number of pins and waterproof/non waterproof. Sometimes you can take the Toyota part number and search it, or at least have the lay out to compare it to.

This comes up a lot. You actually want the female. Female connectors for switches often snap inside the male connector even though that is counter-intuitive. The gender is derived from the pin (male) or socket (female) terminals. In your photo, the switch has pins and is therefore male.

That's good to know, thank you for clarifying this. So I should be looking for a a female connector or a male housing?

The housing gender is determined by the terminals, so if you want one that plugs into that, they are both considered female. It takes some getting used to. The you get some manufacturers that make “reverse” plugs, and that rule goes out the window.

See Johnny's links above, hi-1000 typically comes with terminals (and seals if needed) which makes life easier.

Hey @Puppypunter looking to see how i can get a harness started for a BD RTL-S

Was hoping to have it set up like the following:
    - Red: Bright with brakes; Running light if tail lights on; off if tail lights are off
    - Yellow: Flash w/ corresponding blinker side; Both static on w/ switch (blinker overrides individual side)
    - White: on w/ switch only

Switches will just be hooked up to a Switch Pro for on/off. I was thinking the light bar wiring could run to something like the links below which could be mounted in the bed on the passenger side near the rail so I could disconnect the light if I need to take the rack off for any reason (open to suggestions here).

    Thoughts?

What? Is this a Tacoma bug I am unfamiliar with? We don’t get much rain in Phoenix, maybe that’s why.

Another option for the ECT is to re-locate it with an extended wire harness.
