Intrested in a regular cab with a v6

Trying to get an access cab, can settle for regular cab if anything. These things are hard to find around my area.

- power windows
- automatic
- no red exterior
- access/regular cab
- under 12k if anything
- nothing more than 200k mi

47K actual highway miles. Garage kept. Perfect mechanical condition and excellent overall condition. No rust - Arizona truck. No modifications. Tires have only 5,000 miles. At 42,500 miles I changed the oil in the manual transmission and differential with Royal Purple Max Gear Full Synthetic

$30 Mobil 1 104361 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Lube - 1 Quart (Pack of 2)

75W-90 gear oil and air filter-PROMOTIVE AF4886, as well. For the engine I use Valvoline Advanced Full Synthetic 5W-30 engine oil (changing every year).

This is the only pure street sport truck ever made. They don't make them anymore, and will never make again, unfortunately.
Take care of it and it’ll take care of you at least for two generations.
Great Tacoma First Generation is never cheap, especially Sport-Runner, and cheap Tacoma First Generation is never great.

Years? if you are looking for a 95 to '97, they are even harder to find in automatic. And yes, all Tacoma seem to be getting more impossible to find these days.

 

nevermind that, i saw one on the marketplace that was well taken care of, 2003 prerunner with trd wheels sr5 package for 10k, lots of things changed because owner was really picky and ocd about stuff so i guess i got lucky with this one

tryna convince a friend to get a tacoma though, at least 2000 or newer

On second thought maybe not, it's a salvage title and he didn't post pictures of the passenger side which he says is dented..

 

If it’s a SoCal truck it’s whole life all those things are fixable. I’d rather begin with something that price and go through it than a ridiculously priced 24 year old truck that will need the bulk of the same things worked on.

This looks like a nice one, although the mileage is kind of high.

 

I'd sell my nicer one with less mileage for that price in the same area for what it's worth. His looks like a great truck though.
