At first I thought you were describing my old job, then I remembered -- It was hung over people, bad music from cheap radios and people falling over each other to get out of working...

I always tell my wife I hate crowds because the more people there are, the higher the chance for conflict. I’ll take a walk by myself (or with my family) in the woods any day over being in a large group of people.

My work was always a constant racket - machines, tools, radios, people. My job was to help people and fix what they managed to bungle up by whatever means -- some of them tried really hard it seems ...

Now many days the only person I see is my wife, (I like her a lot, she is a nice girl ) life is good. :)

I did my part this afternoon. Jumped on the TP to go to camp. A flatbed with a trailer ( skid steer) was hauling ass in the left lane. When he passed me his load of 2x8’s had shifted and all his straps were loose. Flagged him down and let him know. Then came up on a MC pulled over on the shoulder just as I pulled up behind him he looked back seen me, gave him the thumbs up. He gave it back and pulled off. I followed for a while. His throw over saddle bags kept catching air and he was trying to keep them down. I I I Had bungees but he didn’t pull over again. Oh well I am at camp and chilling.

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!

Had some strong thunderstorms yesterday afternoon and last night - need to check around this morning to see if there was any wind damage.

Got the truck back yesterday afternoon. They ended up replacing both drums - said the were both squeaking. That seems to have fixed it...at least for now.

Cleaned out the basement of the old farmhouse on our property. Talk about finding pieces of the past found my son's old Lincoln Logs from when we lived in the house from 74-77.

    Be safe out there!!

the Tacoma drums are bad before they are even put on a truck. I could stop faster with a Mario cart hitting a banana peel than those drums can stop a taco. Junk, junk, junk. I’m on my 3rd set of shoes in 60k miles.

They weren't "bad", they were for some reason causing a squeak just before stopping. I've had 4 other people contact me with a similar issue - 3 of them Pros. Seems to be a QC issue with the drums, not wear.
