    What's going on everyone?

I'm waiting for delivery of my new TRD Off Road in the next month and naturally, I'm trying to plan out my build and need some help with planning out the electrical and storage layout.

The end goal is a mixture of a daily driver, as well as an Overlander. That being said, my personal vehicle only sees about 12 thousand miles a year (a mixture of dropping kids off at school, grocery shopping, beach/kayak day trips, and longer road trips to national parks and the mountains). I'm hoping to build this truck out to both upgrade my typical mountain tent camping trips and to avoid staying in town whenever possible. I plan on adding a low profile bed rack and roof-top tent (for better aerodynamics and a sexier streamlined look) as well as a Prinsu roof rack and light bar, a winch, and eventually upgrading the bumpers and skid plates for clearance/protection.

My two main questions I have for this build are, one: Is there a good thread or place for learning basic electrical wiring for lighting (looking to add an S-Pod and multiple lights. I only have basic electrical knowledge... probably enough to get myself in trouble lol)... and two: what ideas do you guys have for the bed? I'd like to still get use of the bed in that I have a small woodworking business on the side so I still need to be able to haul lumber and I'd still need the use of the bed for the weekend kayaking trips (two 13 foot kayaks), but I'd also like some theft protection for storage on those longer trips and need to store equipment in the bed. I've looked at the Decked systems but it seems like that might take too much room for the kayaks so I'm not sure.

Thank you in advance for any and all help and suggestions! I'm open to ideas and your thoughts on this build!
