Done by me: decals, plastidip, and vinyl. More to come. Not done by me: Icon front/rear suspension; Total Chaos UCA’s; Method wheels/34” Falken tires; Prinsu cab rack/LED light bar; V1Air compressor piped to a 2.5 gallon underbed tank; Pelfreybilt front/rear bumpers; Smittybilt front winch.
Following for 2nd Gen long bed availability, I’d love to rock one in my 2015! Looks really sweet!

    Received mine.

I’m going to echo the warning posted earlier about installing:

Be very, very patient/careful unfastening the Phillips head screw! That sucker is on there with like 20-30ft lbs of force!

I of course stripped mine out and now have to extract the screw
and find a replacement. Someone in the Toyota factory was full “sending” these screws. I don’t even know how you could tighten these down that hard.

Sorry to hear that! I've heard of guys taking vise grips to it to remove, or even worse, jam an open end wrench to hold the back side and then vise grip the screw head. Hope your's is easier than that. Good luck!

I have gone straight to spraying penetrant, let it sit, #3 phillips bit with impact gun right from the get go now. Haven't had one stuck screw since.

If I could go back in time, I would have sprayed to liquid wrench on it and used my screw gun on it instead of doing what I did: Going at it with a big phillips screw driver by hand. Lesson learned!

But it did happen to force my hand in finally buying a Snap-on screw extractor set! Can't wait!

Haha I'm sure we've all been there.

Well definitely a pro! I have a set of those and love that if they snap or strip, lifetime replacement!

The Phillips Head screw was super tight on mine too. I just made sure I picked a screwdriver that fit really good and held the back of the fuel door in place while I applied pressure by pushing in and turning. Worked like a charm!

Someone bought one for their 2nd gen access cab and it fit, except the edge of the cradle on the left just doesn't line up to the edge of the door rib.

Got it and installed it. It hits the cap before fully closing. Thoughts?

hmmm Looks like you have an access cab which has the long bed equivalent design. I only as able to design it for a short bed since I have no access to a long bed yet. There was a guy that threw it on his access and even sent me a video of it opening/closing normally. Not sure how yours differs from his. I'm assuming you already have the cap all the way in and that's the OEM cap?
