I would have to agree with you here I can sure zip around better with the 31×10.5 inch set up below which is my stock size than my 32 Duratracs on stock steelies

A volunteer who came out to help us today showed up in this rig….. US truck was not a speck of rust on the frame whatsoever and beautiful aluminum skids. Pretty cool build. GX 470 2008 4.7L

Thanks! I did use the SOS pad method, after trying some other things first.

I was hesitant at first because I thought it might be too aggressive and remove the white, but worked it out great

I always found Canadian Tire was decent to get batteries from, good warranty and they seemed to last as good as any other aftermarket ones.

I vote AGM battery from Canadian tire, good 5 year warranty and lots of locations to switch it out at.

It looks pretty good…..More cranking amps than the one quoted by @3JOH22A However it does weigh 10 pounds more than that one which makes sense… I just read the specs and compared. I’m a firm believer in getting a stronger battery than you actually need.

Having said that and just to confuse you higher end Canadian tire batteries have done me super well over the years but it seems like if you buy this Optima one from Canadians tire warranty and exchange will be good if you have problems.

I have an 8 year old Canadian tire battery in my Tacoma and a 9 year old Toyota battery from the factory in my 2012 RAV4. But I hardly drive 20,000 km a year in both vehicles combined.

One of the one star reviews in your link said that it cannot be boosted if it’s completely dead… Not sure if that’s true

Yes and it's a heavier battery than the group 35, but more cranking amps and more capacity. The extra threaded terminals are good for accessories.

Pick these up if the OEM clamp bottoms out:

Awesome! Those look great! Especially with the TRD caps that I was too lazy to ever throw on lol
Glad you like them and they look awesome on your truck!
(Sorry again for not having the time to give ‘em a proper cleaning before giving them to ya!)
