I was just installing a front camera for my 2018 TRD Off-Road. After putting everything back together, I noticed that the stock head unit does not fit flush with the surrounding bezel. To be more specific, the left edge looks flush, but the right is not. See pics.

There are no gaps between the bezel and the rest of the dash. I triple checked. Is it like this from factory and I'm just noticing it, or is something off? Can y'all check and confirm with yours or maybe provide some advice on what's wrong. Thanks!

Mine sits level on both sides. It sits maybe 1/16 of an inch in but all corners are at the same distance in. Are you sure that the trim plate is pushed all the way in? Head unit might be fine, trim plate might be off. 05E7BD2A-7E44-4C35-BF68-B3E45D931938.jpg

Thanks. Yes trim plate is all the way in from what I checked.

Make sure radio bracket it fully seated before screwing in bolts. Iirc there are 1 or 2 of the 4 corners that have pegs

I removed it and pushed it in again. There arent any gaps as you can see in the pics.

Everything seems to be aligned with the locating pegs.

Can the brackets be adjusted where they mount to the headunit itself?

    Unfortunately not.

Yup read my mind, or I read your mind haha. Just did that and it sits more flush now.

Have you checked the bezel for missing retaining clips?
