For sure. The curb is destroying cars. I’d usually support them just calling the race. But I’d rather not have sat here all afternoon just to see it called because of a curb.

Could be worse, someone in one of my NASCAR FB groups was bitching because Fox wasn’t showing the race in their area and everyone else seemed to be able to watch the race just fine:rofl:

After yesterday, I'm itching to go to a race. I have tickets for the Roval in October but I'm thinking about doing Talladega. Just need to do some camping and campfire sitting, too.

Edit: I've been calling Bristol, AMS, and Talladega since last Thursday trying to get tickets but no one will answer the phone.

Edit #2: Finally got 'Dega on the phone and secured tickets & camping.

Makes me wish Jeremy Clements could get a solid ride and show his potential, too.

Michigan! Here we go. Back to an oval, which, based on post-race interviews, many Cup drivers are anxious to return to. Michigan has long been a race won by raw speed, which Ford has dominated. However, Ford is off this year both on raw speed and cornering. Chevy has stepped it up in both departments.

It is hard to bet against Larson or Harvick here as they've won 7 out of the past ten events with Logano scoring two additional victories. We are down to the final two regular-season events and there are some hungry vets without a win this season and some hungry younger guys looking to sneak into the playoffs. Harvick & Hamlin want to get that W. Meanwhile, Chevy teammates Reddick & Dillon are battling it out along with the Fords of Dibenedetto and Beuscher for those final playoff spots. Like California, Michigan has a reputation as a fuel strategy race. We will certainly see some off-kilter pit strategies by drivers hungry for a win or playoff berth.

Notes: Kurt Busch and Kevin Harvick have raced in 40(!) Cup events here. Newman clocks in at 39 events. They have 10 Cup wins between the three of them. Kurt has more DNFs here than any other driver with 8 total.

    Easy bets: 5, 9, 22.
    Don't count 'em out: 2, 4, 11.

Harvick better odds than Hamlin?! I'd take the 10/1 odds and go Hamlin
